Animation is the movement, or change, of objects through time. In this lesson we learned how to create motion tweens to create motion for changes of position on the Stage and property tweens to create changes in the size, color or other attributes of a symbol. Flash automatically separates tweens on their own layers, which are called Tween layers. In the work shown above the man, the woman and the three cars are all on separate tween layers.A symbol is a reusable asset that you can use for special effects, animation, or interactivity. There are three kinds of symbols: the graphic, button, and movie clip. Symbols can reduce the file size and download time for many animations because they can be reused. The work above was made with three symbols: the hero, the robot and the flare.I have been in Mr. Ambuehl’s class for about a half a year now, and I have learned many tools on both Photoshop & Adobe flash from various presentations and resources that this class offers. This class has created many opportunities for me to learn new about technology as well, including how to upload and send files plus much more.
